Advent
Advent is a season of arrival and awaiting; arrival refers to both the first coming of Jesus over 2,000 years ago and the second coming, when He reclaims the world at the right time. Advent is also a season of awaiting as we anticipate that second coming of Christ. So, this Christmas season we are setting our eyes on the first arrival, as we set our hearts to hope in the second arrival.
